Biography Tslila describes herself as an intuitive painter. Originally, Tslila's style of painting was mostly abstract; recently, however, she has found a new and stylistically alternate form of expressing her feelings about life and its abundance. Using mostly pastel and acrylic, she creates rhythmic, vibrant landscapes and floral paintings, full of textural richness and color. As one critic said, "They make the heart glow and spirit soar." Tslila's works are on display in private collections and international galleries. She was commissioned by the Jewish National Fund in 1999 to paint a special work for the former Lieutenant Governor of Alberta, Lois Hole. Statement I love to express myself through art. Painting is the language that I feel most comfortable in. Intuitively, I reach out to touch a higher set of truths; art being my vehicle of going beyond those boundaries which are often (for me), restricted by the spoken word.
