In Tatjana's words: For me, the Canadian Landscape is an endless source of inspiration. The effects of fog, the play of sun-rays on a mountain slope, shapes formed by storms and forest fires, weather conditions that sculpt our landscape. It all composes itself into great surprising patterns which burn into our minds and hearts.
I use a variety of tools to express my ideas: color dissonance and harmony, dynamic symmetry in composition, variations in the brushwork and texture of paint. This variety relates to the indefinite diversity found in nature.
Landscape provides inspiration, but it’s up to us artists to complete the picture using our own imagination.
